How do I manage my account what does subscription cost?

Payment for EVE subscriptions can be made using normal credit cards or PayByCash™.

Prices are listed in Euros and US dollars. You can use the services of Yahoo Finance to convert the US dollar/Euros to your local currency.

Please note that once you choose a subscription method and interval, and finish registering your account, you will subsequently be automatically charged unless you manually cancel your subscription. You may do so at any time by selecting the option of modifying your account on the "account management" site on www.eve-online.com, and from there choosing to "cancel subscription". Your account will stay open until the end of the current billing cycle.
Note also that it may take a little while for the credit card company to process your payment. If there is a time difference between your country and Iceland you may be billed a few hours before you expected, as billing is done according to the Icelandic date. If you want to cancel your subscription we urge you to do so at least 24 hours before your subscription period is scheduled for renewal.

Credit Cards

We only accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards.

The European Union E-commerce Directive 2002/38/EC, Regulation 792/2002, applies to some of our European players. It stipulates that all EU residents must pay a Value Added Tax (VAT) on electronically supplied services including online games. We are thus obligated to add a VAT on all payment transactions for customers living within the EU. In view of this, the pricing structure for Europe is:

PayByCash™

PayByCash™ offers payment solutions for customers who wish to pay via check, direct debit (ACH), bank transfer, CertaPay, money order, Western Union, Cyphermint's PayCash system, Citibank's C2it, or one of many other payment methods.

As soon as PayByCash™ informs CCP that you have placed an order with them and paid for your account, your account will get activated and you will get your 30 day trial period after the period you paid for is over.

Please note that residents in the United Kingdom are required to pay a software registration fee and therefore creating a cd-less account will cost 35 Euros.

Game Time Cards

These are pre-paid game time scratch cards. Your payment type will change as soon as you enter a valid card number.
If you are creating a new account with a Game Time Card, 20 days will be subtracted. A 50 day card will then be good for 30 days of game time, a 100 day card will provide 80 days of game time, and so on.

Changing billing method and period

To do this, you have to log onto the "Account management" section of our website and log on to the "Modify an existing account" section. There you have to go to the billing info tab and click on the "edit billing info" link. Then you will be taken to a page where you can change the subscription type and billing cycle.

Please note: If you are switching to Game Time Cards from other payment methods, make sure your subscription period has expired before activating the Game Time Card. It will take effect immediately, regardless of the remaining time of your previous subscription.
